21 Days, time for a drink?

Very short post today.  The most important this is we are OFFICIALLY at full term today!  We are also just about as ready as we can be.  We are still in need of a few things (prefold cloth diapers, diaper covers, and an endless supply of wipes) but we are as about ready as we can be.  This means that things are about to get real. 

I get to sped this awesome day………… at work.  It is not that I mind the people that I work with… heck… I love some of them and I like all of the rest.  But, my mind is all about “baby”.  I guess that it is a good way to practice the further separation of work and the rest of my life.

I also saw on my Dash that teddybeardaddy and his wife were working through the process of induction.  Still keeping them in my prayers and awaiting to see how it all turns out.  Tonight, house cleaning and getting ready for our church Community Group, which will be having a potluck at our home tomorrow night.  I am going to be making the “Better than Sex” cake that electradaddy posted awhile back, and was a HUGE hit for Valentine’s Day.  Then there is some of the prep work that I will be doing for the shrimp gumbo and chicken gumbo (the latter because my wife, being pregnant, cannot have shellfish right now……. Anyways) that I will be making on Wednesday.  Have I mentioned that I love to cook… yeah.  Anyway, gotta love the gray, rainy days, in a dim office building, when it is slow.  Perhaps I should take a nap…lol. 

I AM GOING TO BE A DAD, I am scared out of my mind, and “full term” means we can breathe a little easier, because our daughter can as well.
