Four years ago today our little family left the NICU and I drove the slowest and longest drive home I have ever had.
We had no idea what the path before us looked like, or where it would take us. But after a LONG and hard fight (that’s right, barely a dad for 10 days and I questioned and argued with a NICU doctor on behalf of my daughter) we were heading home.
