Aperts Awareness Month

Among the many things my wife and I had never heard of prior to Zoey’s birth was Aperts Syndrome.  Due to many of the characteristics that Zoey presented with (crowded pallet, high hatched pallet, syndactyly (fused fingers or toes), polydactyly (extra fingers or toes), to name a few, and of course craniosynostosis) this was the leading potential disorder for her, we thought we had a name.
