(Opens on an attic office. A BEARDED MAN sits staring down at his desk at a box. The hum of gaming computers can be heard.)

The sound of a door opening, a light shines from off stage.

WOMANS VOICE: (offstage) Honey the kids are ready, time for dinner. You on your way?

CRANIO DAD: Yeah. (still staring at the box, dramatic pause) I will be there in just a moment, just finishing up.

WOMANS VOICE: (offstage) Okay, see you soon dear.

(Door closes and the light off stage goes out)

CRANIO DAD: (Slowly lifts lid off box, revealing a typewriter. Places the lid on the floor. Cracks

knuckles, begins to type) I wonder if this thing still works.

(Stage goes dark, typewriter sound can be heard) CRANIO DAD: Hey everyone, I know it has been a LONG time. Seems we have some catching up to do.
