Here we are, facing the reality of our fourth labor. Another time that I will be floored by my wife’s strength and resolve. I will do my best to make her laugh, and be the one she holds onto when she pushes.I am going to become a dad for the fourth time. Perhaps it is better to say my expanse of fatherhood is expanding. Regardless, my beloved is going to go through the hell that is labor, and on the other side our family will grow by one.Every couple of minutes I hear her breath sharp. I listen to the clock ticking as we get closer and closer to the moment. The moment that our family will grow and our hearts will too. (at VCU Health)
